| Introduction to Papillons |
| |
Papillons are a lovable toy breed known to carry themselves with extreme confidence. They are friendly and outgoing but have a fragile structure and roughhouse activity can easily cause broken bones. For that reason we prefer not to adopt small Papillon pups to homes with toddlers. This breed requires minimal excercise so it is well suited for apartments or close living situations. Due to coat length, once a week grooming is recommended for Papillons.

Occasionally we have Papillons AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION to loving homes. (Click on to see adoption page)
As we are a smaller breeder of Papillons we enjoy showing on an occasional basis, getting judges comments on our dogs, and showing off our butterfly babies! It is our goal to produce a titled champion from our own combination of matings. While working toward our goal, we will have sweet pups that might not be suitable for the show ring that we will make available for adoption on a spay/neuter contract. All of our pups are raised in our home and given lots of love and well socialized. They come with a care kit, health record, pedigree, AKC registration application, and baggie of food.

On nice days they have an indoor and outdoor kennels they play in (we live on farm and it is dangerous for them to run free due to trafic and large livestock around).
Our animals are happy and healthy when they leave our farm and we provide support for new owners to help keep them that way. We screen prospective new owners to assure a proper match for all involved. We want you to know what you are getting yourself into, and we want to know what kind of home our animals will have.
Please complete our adoption form (click on to go to form) to be considered for one of our puppies/dogs. We will be glad to add you to our waiting list for upcomming litters if approved. If you have any questions feel free to call or email us @ mabkcb@aol.com. |

Bailey's Shari was our first Papillon. Here she is playing with a past pup. She is a hound dog tri color.
Sunshine is a pretty girl that was raised here and will stay here with us. She is out of Bailey's Shari and Starsign's Bettin on Sabastian who is pictured below.
Meet Pampered Sweet Sugar - She has Monarch bloodlines! A little bashful for the camera this day.
Meet BJ's Lady India - She has a super sweet personality and nice full coat and lots of ear fringe.
Meet Jada, our Black tri female. One of our smaller girls. Jada is our clown. She likes to steal all the attention for herself :-)
Riley - She looks red and white, but does have some black tipping so is a sable. She belongs to Kristen and is out of India and Monty. She was the smallest of her litter. Here she is 1 year and in heat so her coat is not at it's best.Very nicely put together and we can't wait for her full coat to come back.
Susie Q is a black tri female out of Jada and Monty. She has huge ears and they still will flop over. She is a bit long in tourso, but nice straight legs and body type. She is a sweet female and is excellent with children and other dogs. |

Sabastian's Monty of Rocky Top was also raised here at Rocky Top. He is Sunshine's sister (out of a different litter) out of Bailey's Shari and Starsign's Bettin on Sabastian .
New Arrival comming soon: INTERNATIONAL Champion Stud *Starfire's Show Me Bubba (son of an AKC champion). BUBBA'S full brother is one of the most titled papillons in the country! "Hero" has successfully finished many titles in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, and is now working on tracking!
Below are pics of Starsign's Bettin on Sabastian , Monty & Sunshine's dad, as puppy 6-9 month class and at a Charlottesville Show in 12-18 months class in June 2006. He is a sweetie, but his Mom wanted to get him to more shows than we could so he now resides back home with his breeder and has even bigger wins with many points towards his Championship! ***He just won BOW @ Northeastern KC on 7-4-2008 and the following weekend BOB @ Shawnee KC! Way to go Sabastian! Congrats Patty!

Papillon is French for Butterfly. I am reminded of Chrysalis - the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly. When I was a youth I went through a transformation at a Chrysalis retreat . If you know a youth that would benefit from a relationship with Jesus Christ I would highly recommend this 3 day life changing event !
