We are a small family farm located in Culpeper, VA. Both Mike & Kelly grew up on farms and thus could not think of a better place to raise their children. Although we have raised animals all of our lives, Rocky Top became our official name in the year 2000.
At the present time, Rocky Top Farm is home to commercial sheep, Holland Lop - Mini Rex - Netherland Dwarf Rabbits, various types of large and bantam breed Chickens, Papillon & Australian Shepherd dogs, and market hogs during spring & summer months. We also have been hosting an agricultural based summer day camp for youth ages 6-14 for the past several years.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION:
If you are interested in adopting an Australian Shepherd or Papillon from Rocky Top please tell us about yourself and what you are looking for in your email. To be considered as an adoptive family, complete an adoption form and email it to us. We are glad to answer specific questions about our breeds, but it is always refreshing to hear from folks who have done their research and learned a bit about the breed & type of animal they are looking for!
Be sure and click on the links to the left of the page for more info about our different animals! Each animal type has it's own page and that page has a link to any animals available for adoption. *If you filled out an adoption form and have not heard from us, your email might have been accidently deleted. Please contact us to see if we actually recieved it. Thanks!

TORI won Best in Show with her Holland Lop Buck
Kristen & Tori showing market lambs
Kristen won Champion Dorset with her ewe lamb and 3rd place for her elaborate barn display with a theme "A Mid Summer Nights Dream". Tori won Champion Junior Showman and had a great western theme barn display. See an article in the Culpeper Star Exponent about Tori! Their market lambs placed higher this year than in years past and the girls each had 2 lambs to make weight and sell in the auction!

J. T. had an awesome year showing his market hogs. He took Reserve Champion with Captain Bravo, Champion Junior Showman, recieved the Porcine Award (premium and chair), and got 2nd place with his army themed barn display. This year all 3 of his market hogs reached their target weight of 220 lbs to 280 lbs.!
